Your consent

By using Tradi, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in this policy. We will always ask for your explicit consent before collecting or using your data in new ways.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and Google account identifier. During your conversations with Tradi, we collect the messages you send and the profile information you share (values, preferences, and relationship goals). If you join the waitlist, we also collect your age, sex, sexual orientation, city, and country.

How we use your data

Your data is used to build your profile, find compatible matches, and improve the quality of introductions. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not show your profile to other users without your consent. Your identity (name, email, photos) is never shared with potential matches until you explicitly choose to reveal it.

AI and your conversations

Your conversations with Tradi are processed by AI to understand your values and preferences. We use Google Gemini to power these conversations. Your messages are sent to Google's API for processing but are not used by Google to train their models. We store your conversation history to maintain continuity across sessions.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored in encrypted databases. We use HTTPS for all communications. Authentication tokens are signed with secure keys and can be revoked at any time by signing out.

Data retention

Data is retained while your account is active. Inactive accounts (no login for 12 months) will be notified via email and deleted after 30 days if there is no response.

Cookies and analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we self-host. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal information. We use it solely to understand how people use Tradi so we can improve the experience.

Advertising and conversion measurement

If you accept the consent banner, we load a tracking pixel from X (formerly Twitter) provided by X Corp. It allows us to measure how well our ads on X perform — specifically, whether visitors who clicked an ad later joined the waitlist. The pixel sends X your page-visit and waitlist-signup events along with technical signals X collects automatically (IP address, browser user-agent, an advertising cookie). We do not send X your name, email, age, sex, sexual orientation, location, or any conversation content.

The pixel only loads after you click Accept on the consent banner. If you click Decline, or never interact with the banner, no X pixel and no conversion event is ever loaded or fired. You can revoke consent at any time by clearing your browser's site data for Tradi — the banner will reappear on your next visit. For X's own use of this data, see X's Privacy Policy.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. You can also request a copy of your data or ask us to correct inaccuracies by contacting us at the email below.
